Drew's post says it all: Calling all authors -- time to exceed Age of Conversation!
Hard to believe that we are nearing a full year since we originally released it. And, if you missed IT, then consider absorbing it all via The Age Of Conversation RoundUp including The Age of Conversation dedicated website and the creation story.
So, Drew and Gavin are at it again and intend to make the next book bigger and better than The Age of Conversation. You have to admire these two!
Would you like to participate?
Here's how: e-mail Drew and tell him that you're in.
More details are coming, but here are the basic rules for authorship:
+ Sign over all rights to your chapter
+ All proceeds of the book will be donated to Variety, the Children's Charity
+ Promote the book, throughout the process, on your blog
+ Embrace the cooperative, collaborative spirit that defined Age of Conversation
+ Honor deadlines
+ Honor word counts
True to form, Drew and Gavin offer a new twist for selecting the 2008 topic.... We are all invited to participate! And, the nominees are [drum roll, please]:
+ Marketing Manifesto
+ Why Don't People Get It?
+ My Marketing Tragedy (and what I learned)
You may vote for your top choice via SurveyMonkey - Click Here to take survey. Anyone can vote, so let yourself go wild! Just don't wait too long. The survey closes on January 31, 2008.
From personal experience, if this next version of Age of Conversation is anything close to the original one, then I will be ecstatic. I will truly never forget how momentous an undertaking it was in so many ways.
[Update on Age of Conversation - you can still purchase it via LuLu.com. It will be available on Amazon shortly and as soon as the kinks get resolved, I'll update you.]

C.B. - not only was it a fun experience but it demonstrated the generosity of bloggers and the reach of social media.
Toby, you are so right! It will be fascinating to see how we build on the first experience.
Ditto. Look forward to working with you...and to more posts about colors!
That red-and-blue is looking mighty good these days, considering the Giants and Pats are in the Superbowl!
Thanks, Daniel! Very fun that color inspires so much enthusiasm... Go SuperBowl!
C.B. I cannot wait to be apart of such a ground breaking social media experience.
I read last years book and I loved it.
